A New Year, A New Reset

As you will know, I have spent the last two years focusing my writing and reflections on coaching, which is still a very big part of the work I do; I have spent the whole summer designing my refocus for 2023 and beyond. Tightening up my why and my who so I can target and support more specifically. I realised I was up against a giant in the education sector regarding coaching with a far greater reach and far more resources than I. While I still have a massive passion for coaching, my 'WHY' sits in the space of supporting middle leaders to confidently & effectively communicate no matter who they are conversing with. Yip, you know it. Conversations with senior leaders, middle leaders, teachers, parents and students all require a nuanced approach to have an impact.

I help middle leaders who agonise over tricky performance conversations or want to communicate more effectively and efficiently to have conversations that leverage buy-in and amplify impact no matter WHO they are conversing with.

There are so many ways you can approach communication. It is more complex when you communicate from a middle leadership position. Then you are communicating from the messy middle. You end up being the translator for the senior leadership messages you are tasked to take to your team and the translator for your team with the messages you take back to the senior leadership. It's tricky, complex and complicated. Some conversations go well, some feel awkward, and others feel ok at the time, and then you hear about the corridor gossip that happens about you and the conversation you have just had. And that is never good. Sometimes all seems ticky boo in the conversation, everyone seems to be on board, in agreement, and it's all systems go, and then nothing changes. So you end up having the same conversation again and again.

So I have made it my mission to provide exceptional support to all those in middle leadership roles. And that also spreads to those in Deputy Senior Leadership roles because you're not quite at the top of the tree and still need to communicate up, down, and across.

HERE’S MY PLAN

  • I have a fantastic new course designed specifically with you in mind. When I created this course, I had one goal in mind.
